West Coast rapper Kreayshawn blew up this summer with her online hit "Gucci, Gucci," which is currently sitting at nearly 14 million views on YouTube. Name checking the likes of Gucci, Fendi and Prada likely played a part in MTV bringing her in to work the red carpet ahead of the VMA telecast.
Part producer, part rapper and part music video director, it's unclear which of those three titles will be the most lucrative for the 21-year-old, who was snatched up by Columbia records after dropping "Gucci, Gucci." One thing is for sure: this girl is divisive. For every fan she makes, she seemingly alienates just as many. Her YouTube videos draw the kind of heated criticism normally reserved for Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black, but her talent is undeniable.
